🚨 Community Safety Update: Motorbike Theft Attempts

We want to make our community aware that there have been recent attempts to steal motorbikes in the area.

Motorbike security — Please ensure your motorbike is secured with high‑quality locks, chains, and ground anchors where possible.

Suspicious activity — If you notice anyone loitering around vehicles, trying door handles, or acting unusually near driveways or garages, report it immediately.

CCTV and lighting — Good lighting and visible cameras can deter opportunistic thieves.

Neighbour awareness — Looking out for each other makes a real difference. If you see a neighbour’s alarm sounding or someone tampering with a bike, call it in.

Local officers are increasing patrols in affected areas and reviewing any available CCTV. Your reports, no matter how small they may seem, help us build a clearer picture and take action quickly.

Together, we can keep our community safe and reduce opportunities for crime.
